Chandra Babu Naidu ruled united Andhra Pradesh for nine years. Now, a part of his fiefdom has gone away to others. Naturally, he is not a happy man. Though the CM elect of Andhra Pradesh is yet to come to power officially, he has hinted that he will win over Telangana before the 2019 elections.
If one goes by the vote share polled during the elections in Telangana, the Congress ranks second and TDP ranks third.
The Congress however is not confident of consolidating its position in Telangana. However, Chandra Babu is already sounding confident of winning in Telangana.
One point to be noted is that the huge wave of support for TDP was actually an anti-incumbent vote against the Congress party. Had the state been united, the chances of TDP being voted to power were bleak.
Even before the Telangana people’s joy has sinked in, they have started dreading Chandra Babu Naidu.
