Union Minister for Textiles, Kavuri Samba Siva Rao is likely to join the TDP. Kavuri was at the forefront of the Samaikhyandhra movement and ditched the people on being offered the Minister’s post.
He has reportedly been getting feelers from the TDP for some time now and Kavuri has told his supporters that he would take a call on joining TDP on March 16.
His proposed induction is vehemently being opposed by TDP Denduluru MLA, Prabhakar who has threatened to leave the TDP if Kavuri is admitted to the Party.
Will the people forget and forgive if a politician changes his Party? Does changing a Party absolve a politician of the crimes he has committed when in the earlier Party? We shall know the answer to that question in the coming elections.
