Reddy Cries Foul In Defamation Case!

After making a tall claim that he would face any type of case filed against him, Telangana Telugu Desam Party leader A Revanth Reddy on Friday cried foul over the Rs 90 crore defamation case filed against him by My Home chairman J Rameshwar Rao.

Revanth appeared before the Nampally Criminal Court in connection with the defamation case filed against him by Rameswar Rao for making derogatory remarks against him over a land deal.

Revanth Reddy had leveled several allegations against KCR saying that the TRS government had taken over 32 acres of land allotted to L&T in Gachibowli and allocated it to J Rameshwar Rao of My Home Group.

Rameswar Rao had also served legal notices on the TDP leader and demanded Rs 90 crore compensation for making defamatory remarks. The court posted the matter for further hearing to April 28.

Revanth Reddy said KCR with his supporters was foisting false cases to terrorise him. He said that under any circumstances, he would not succumb to arrn-twisting tactics of TRS and would continue to fight legally against the corrupt practices of the KCR government.

Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has love for the erstwhile Nizam regime and scant respect for democracy, Revanth Reddy said the people of the State taught a fitting lesson to the TRS in the MLC election.
