A top police official, who hogged the media limelight during the Congress regime, is said to be acting as unofficial advisor to power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan.
According to the talk doing rounds in a section of digital media, this police boss, who used to claim himself to be a terror for the corrupt politicians, had failed to prove any scam and he ultimately turned out to be a mere puppet in the hands of the powers-that-be those days.
After the BJP came to power at the Centre, this officer has been relegated to insignificant position and he quietly disappeared from the media limelight. Now and then, he is seen preaching lessons against corruption in schools and colleges.
Now, this so-called gentleman is said to be acting as an advisor to Pawan Kalyan, who is also acting as per his suggestions.
The recent strong comments made by Pawan against the BJP in the recent past are also in tune with the advice of this police officer. And BJP leadership too has kept a watch on the activities of this IPS officer.
Interestingly, a minister in the Chandrababu Naidu cabinet is also facilitating his meetings with college students regularly. And this officer is negotiating between the TDP and Jana Sena for an alliance in the next elections.
If the reports are correct, Pawan will confine his party to 30 assembly seats, leaving the rest to the TDP. So, everything is going on as per the master plan, say sources.
