As or leaders sit in the Parliament and Assemblies crying themselves hoarse on various issues, their children continue to subvert the system for their own selfish gains.
Former Minister DK Aruna’s daughter Snigdha has been barred from further mining in and around the area leased out to her at Mannapur village in Mahabubnagar district, by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
The complaint against Snigdha is that while her company has been allotted a mining lease for one hectare, she is resorting to quarrying in 20 hectares.
This was filed by a resident of the village who was appalled at the brazen violation of law and loot of natural resources by the Minister’s daughter.
All the government reports submitted to the High Court confirmed the fact that mining was taking place in an area more than permitted.
