Pawan-Naidu Meeting: What's Up?

Pawan-Naidu Meeting: What's Up?

It has been quite some time since one has heard about power star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan insofar as his political activities are concerned.

All that we know is that he is busy shooting for his forthcoming film being directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

However, on Monday, there are reports in the media that Pawan Kalyan is going to meet Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, following an invitation from the latter.

It is not exactly known whether or not Pawan has agreed to come to Vijayawada to meet Naidu and whether the meeting would take place on Monday itself or some other day, but the proposed meeting itself has raised a lot of curiosity.

Apparently, Naidu has called for an official meeting to review the situation of mysterious kidney diseases in Uddanam area in Srikakulam.

A team of doctors from Harvard in the US is said to have studied the situation in Uddanam area and they would be discussing with the chief minister about the possible remedies to be taken in the area.

Since Pawan Kalyan also has done sufficient study on the issue and went to the villages to gain the first-hand knowledge about the kidney diseases, Naidu thought Pawan’s inputs would also be crucial during the review meeting, say official sources.

However, observers do not rule out the political significance to the meeting of Pawan and Naidu in the wake of aggressive posture taken up by YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy against the TDP government and his preparedness for the next elections well in advance. They do not rule out the possibility of Naidu seeking Pawan support in the next elections.

What is more important is that Naidu hopes Pawan would do something to neutralise the impact of Mudragada Padmabhanam, who is planning to take out a massive rally of Kapus from Kirlampudi to Amaravati.

May be Pawan would come out with a counter strategy!
