Pawan Kalyan recently issued a press statement announcing the fielding of Janasena candidates in several constituencies for the upcoming general elections in Telangana, scheduled for November 30th.
However, it's surprising to note that with the elections just 45-50 days away, he is currently in Italy, shooting on one of his film projects.
Upon investigation, it becomes evident that Pawan Kalyan's press release was an attempt to capture the attention of the BJP, with which Janasena has formed an alliance.
Sources indicate that he had expected the BJP to reach out to him due to this matter. As per his plan, if the BJP high command reaches out to him, he would have negotiated on the reelase of Chandrababu from prison. But they did care his press note.
He also had a hope that the BRS might approach him with an offer, fearing that Janasena candidates could split their votes. However, they, too, paid no heed to his announcement.
Disheartened by these unsuccessful attempts, Pawan Kalyan appears to have abandoned the idea of fielding candidates in the Telangana elections and proceeded to Italy for his film shoot.
Amidst all this, netizens couldn't help but comment with amusement on Pawan Kalyan's claims of being a savior of the TDP in Andhra Pradesh.
