Pawan Endorsed My Stand, Says Naidu!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is dropping enough hints that he is pampering Jana Sena Party president and actor Pawan Kalyan, ahead of the ensuing elections in Andhra Pradesh.

For the last few weeks, Naidu has not been making any negative comments against Pawan Kalyan and has in fact going soft on the actor.

Unlike a few months ago, when he used to attack YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and Pawan Kalyan with equal aggression saying that they were dancing to the tunes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the TDP president has now stopped raising Pawan’s name.

Instead, he has replaced Pawan with Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

On Tuesday, Naidu indirectly appreciated Pawan for dragging KCR into Andhra politics to attack Jagan.

He was referring to Pawan’s comments that Jagan was making friendship with KCR who was responsible for the bifurcation of the state and whom Jagan’s father Y S Rajasekhar Reddy had strongly opposed.

“Pawan’s statement endorsed my argument which I have been putting forth all these days. He is right in saying that Jagan was joining hands with the person who was responsible for doing injustice to the state. Jagan says he would join hands with KCR to bring special category status. Why can’t Jagan and KCR bring pressure on their friend Modi to fetch special status?” he asked.

Naidu also indirectly called upon Pawan Kalyan to join his crusade against the Bharatiya Janata Party.

“It is time all the parties which are opposed to the BJP to come together and bring down the Modi government in order to achieve justice to our state,” he said.
