No Takers For Naidu's Futuristic Talk!

No Takers For Naidu's Futuristic Talk!

It is just another two and a half years for the next Assembly elections and the political situation is still fluid in the state, with odds going heavily against the present Telugu Desam Party government headed by N Chandrababu Naidu.

Any chief minister at this stage will think of speeding up the developmental works and introducing schemes that would attract the common people.

The immediate task before Naidu is to complete at least half of the construction of the capital city of Amaravati, besides Polavaram project.

These two projects would bring enormous political mileage to Naidu; and in the last one and a half years before the elections, he can introduce a couple of innovative populist schemes, besides fulfilling the major demand of Kapu reservations.

Instead, Naidu has started talking about bringing Andhra Pradesh into the top 3 states of the country in terms of development by 2022 and to the No. 1 position by 2029.

It shows Naidu is asking the people to vote for the TDP for another three terms, if they want a developed Andhra Pradesh.

This is ridiculous. How can Naidu expect the people to vote for him till 2029, if he cannot deliver goods in this present term? People would not believe such a futuristic talk by the chief minister. They want instant results at least in some areas, so that they believe you are worth their votes.

This tall talk won’t help you Naidu!
