YS Jagan is clearly not a person who is affected by the regional sentiments. There is only one Party that he dislikes and it is the TDP.
In order to put the TDP on the back foot, he will go to any lengths or tie up with any other Party.
Recently, when the ‘Seshachalam’ encounter was snowballing into a major Andhra-Tamil Nadu controversy, Jagan put aside the regional factor and came down heavily on Chandrababu Naidu.
And now, he has supported the TRS in the MLC elections thereby contributing to denying the TDP, a presence in the legislative council.
While YSRCP cadre in AP might be disappointed at Jagan supporting the Telanganites against an AP Party, inside sources feel that this move will help Jagan’s image in Telangana.
Whether he has any regional sentiments or not, what has been proved is Jagan’s intense dislike of the TDP. Of course, Chandrababu too reciprocates his feelings.
