Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister is going to throw one of the biggest parties in Vijayawada on April 8, coinciding with Ugadi.
The occasion is not the festival, but the first birthday of his grandson Devansh as per the Hindu calender.
The party, to be hosted at A-1 Convention Centre from 6 pm to 11 pm, is said to be the grandest party ever given by Naidu in the recent past. More than 10,000 guests – including friends, relatives, IAS and IPS officials, judges, political leaders from all parties and party cadre in big numbers, are going to attend the party.
From his side, Devansh’s maternal grandfather and actor-turned-MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has also invited a big number of his fans for the birthday party. All in all it is going to be the mother of all parties, say the party sources.
The occasion will also provide an opportunity for Naidu’s son and party general secretary Nara Lokesh to get into limelight in the wake of growing demand for his elevation to the Cabinet minister. It will definitely be an image boosting for Lokesh, say the party sources.
