Naidu Delhi Visit To Cover Up Attack On Jagan!

Naidu Delhi Visit To Cover Up Attack On Jagan!

The sudden visit of Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to Delhi a couple of days ago in the name of meeting leaders of all opposition parties including Congress president Rahul Gandhi was only to divert the people’s attention from the murder attempt on YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

This was the opinion expressed by YSRC ex-MP from Ongole Y V Subba Reddy.

According to him, there was a severe backlash from the people in the state against Naidu in the wake of murder attempt on Jagan.

"His party and the government was in deep crisis due to complete goof-up in the investigation into the Visakhapatnam incident. That is why Naidu had rushed to Delhi twice in a span of one week to create some hungama in the public," he said.

The fact that Naidu had joined hands with the very Congress that had bifurcated the state by undemocratic means gagging those opposing the move, closing the doors of parliament and suspending live telecast shows that he had political compulsions rather than the interests of the state.

Reddy reminded that throughout his political career, Naidu needed a national figure as he could go to people on his own, after he ditched NTR in a bloodless coup to usurp the Party and power.

"The compulsions which he has been shouting about are in fact personal and political in nature as the attack on Leader of Opposition has snowballed into a ‘Waterloo in the waiting’ and he needs some national party leader to campaign for him in the ensuing elections."
