Mysoora Back In TDP Fold!

Mysoora Back In TDP Fold!

It is now more or less certain that former MP M V Mysoora Reddy is going to join the Telugu Desam Party shortly. Interestingly, it was his rival in Kadapa district – businessman-cum-politician C M Ramesh, who is playing key role in bringing him back into the TDP.

Ramesh came to the residence of Mysoora on Monday and held talks with him for some time. And the outcome of the meeting is that the former MP would be welcomed into the TDP.

Mysoora, known for turning his coats quite often, was in the YSR Congress party till April this year. Originally from the Congress party, Mysoora joined the TDP when Chandrababu Naidu was in power and was given the Rajya Sabha ticket in 2006.

Before 2014 elections, he was denied the RS ticket for the second time as Naidu preferred his close aide C M Ramesh.

Having no other option, he joined the YSR Congress party, which he said had happened in a dramatic fashion – he was called for a breakfast meeting with Jaganmohan Reddy, who greeted him party khanduwa.

Later, he campaigned aggressively against Naidu. He used to appear in the television channel debates and press conferences on behalf of the YSR Congress party to attack Naidu.

With the YSR Congress party, too, denying him the Rajya Sabha ticket and preferring Jagan’s close associate V Vijay Sai Reddy, Mysoora quit the YSRC and was looking for options. Now, he has got the offer from Naidu as part of strengthening the TDP in Kadapa district.
