Modi To Meet BJP Leaders, Not KCR!

Modi To Meet BJP Leaders, Not KCR!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a rude shock to Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao by rejecting his plea for a one-on-one meeting for five minutes to represent on the issues concerning the state.

First of all, Modi has agreed to come to Hyderabad only to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) on Tuesday, but after repeated requests from the state government, he also agreed to inaugurate the Hyderabad Metro Rail, but he will participate in it only for 15-20 minutes.

In fact, KCR wanted to have a one-on-one meeting with Modi at the Begumpet airport and sought some time to represent on issues like re-classification of SCs and 12 per cent reservations for Muslims.

However, Modi rejected the request of KCR, saying he had no time. So the only time Modi will spend with KCR in Hyderabad is at Metro Rail inauguration and the GES, besides dinner at Falaknuma.

Everything will be official and there is no personal time between the two, say sources.

However, a delegation of the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders wanted to have interaction with the Prime Minister, as he is coming to Hyderabad after a long time. And Modi liberally gave them time.

He would spend at least 15-20 minutes with them at the Begumpet airport before leaving for Miyapur to inaugurate the metro rail.

And KCR will have to wait at the airport till then!
