Milk Bath To Naidu By Telangana Unemployed!

Milk Bath To Naidu By Telangana Unemployed!

Surprising as it might sound, some unemployed youth in Mahbubnagar district of Telangana performed “palabhishekam” (milk bath) to the portrait of Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday to express their resentment against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government in Telangana.

Reason: Naidu government on Wednesday announced the schedule for recruitment of more than 12,000 teachers through District Selection Committees (DSC), which would be completed by April and postings would be given by June.

This is the second DSC notification issued by the Naidu government in the last two years. In 2016, it recruited 10,000 teachers through the DSC.

However, in Telangana, not a single teacher has been recruited in the last three and a half years. It issued two teachers’ recruitment test (TRT) notifications in one year, but both of them ended up in legal problems because of the flaws in the notifications.

Though the TRS government is boasting that it would recruit over one lakh teachers by next year, the unemployed youth have lost faith in the government, as was evident form the way they attended the recent Kolvula Kotlata meeting organised by TJAC leader Prof M Kodandaram three days ago.

In a bid to show their resentment towards Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, some unemployed youth in Mahbubnagar performed milk bath for the portrait of Andhra chief minister for recruiting teachers.

Since such milk bath of KCR portraits are common in Telangana, the unemployed youth wanted to show their resentment in this manner!
