Has Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao finally decided to induct his son and TRS working president K T Rama Rao into his cabinet which he is planning to expand soon?
One would get this doubt after going through a letter issued by Chief Minister’s Office to Rainbow Children’s Hospital in Hyderabad on January 4 releasing Rs 2 lakh to the hospital towards treatment provided to one Master Abhiram from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
According to the letter, the Chief Minister had released the amount on the recommendation of KTR, who was probably acting on a representation given by the boy’s parents.
What is interesting in the whole issue is that the name of KTR was mentioned as Minister of Information Technology, Municipal Administration and Urban Development.
The letter, which went viral in the social media, made one wonder whether KTR is still being treated by the CMO as a minister, as he is just TRS working president and that KCR has not expanded his cabinet yet.
In fact, there has been a talk that KTR will not be inducted into the cabinet and would be asked to take full charge of the party affairs till the next Lok Sabha elections, after which he would be directly made the chief minister.
May be, KCR has changed his mind and decided to take KTR into the cabinet and entrust him with the same old portfolios.
