KCR’s policy of appeasing caste and religious groups seemed to have opened a Pandora’s Box.
It is public knowledge that of late, KCR has sanctioned a Komaram Bheem Bhavan, a Christian Bhavan etc.
Expectedly, various other castes and religions are now demanding bhavans for their particular groups.
The latest to join the bandwagon is Shabbir Ali, Congress leader who has demanded a ‘Haj Bhavan’ for Muslims.
The last CM of United Andhra Pradesh, Kiran Kumar Reddy had sanctioned Rs 3 crore for it and Shabbir Ali is asking the TRS to implement the promise.
His logic is also quite simple: “When other Bhavans are being made, why not this?” questioned Shabbir Ali. But the remark exposes his naivety as well.
How can he expect KCR to fulfill the promise made by an Andhra CM? What Shabbir Ali should do is to route this demand through the MIM and his ‘Haj House’ will be sanctioned overnight.
