KCR's diktat to media: Don't publish Andhra news in Telangana!

The 'dictator' within TRS president and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has been coming out in a more 'powerful avatar' after he won recent Assembly elections with a thumping majority.

Instead of focussing on how to fulfill the slew of election promises he made to Telangana voters in Assembly polls, KCR seems to be busy satisfying his 'dictator ego' by dictating terms for various sections and deciding who should do what.

KCR has now issued a diktat to media organisations in Telangana not to publish "Andhra news" in Telangana.

He asked media houses to allot separate pages for Andhra news inside but not publish photos and news of AP leaders on Pg 1 of their Telangana editions.

During the press conference at Pragathi Bhavan on Saturday KCR said he is getting confused whether he is staying in Telangana or AP looking at newspapers in the morning.

The newspapers publish big big photos of AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu and other AP news in top headlines, he said.

KCR questioned why Telangana people are forced to read Andhra news in Telangana.

He even threatened to the extent that TRS government will have to review it's advertisement policy indicating that his government will stop issuing ads to newspapers publishing Andhra news and encourage only those papers which are Telangana-centric.

KCR conveniently forgets the fact that he also issued advertisements worth crores of rupees to newspapers of AP editions during his first term.

KCR has no answer on how AP people are concerned with the achievements and schemes of TRS government in Telangana, on which he spent crores of rupees in the form of ads.

Not only AP, he issued advertisements in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka newspapers earlier.
