KCR's arrogance turned 'One-side war' into 'Tug of War'

KCR's arrogance turned 'One-side war' into 'Tug of War'

Why did Assembly elections in Telangana, which were considered as 'one-side war" in favour of TRS, suddenly turned into 'tug of war' between TRS and Mahakutami?

All the fingers are pointing towards TRS chief and K.Chandrasekhar Rao for making this happen.

Congress and TDP were completely marginalised by KCR in Telangana after he came to power in 2014.

Not to mention about TJS and CPI, the other constituents of Mahakutami, which are non-existent in Telangana.

Political observers see "KCR's arrogance" as the reason for the present tough conditions faced by TRS in elections.

TDP chief and AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu extented 'friendly hand' to KCR prior to dissolution of Assembly saying that TDP is ready to work with TRS in Telangana in the interests of Telugu States.

Naidu also did not demand specific number of seats for TDP in Telangana and left the choice to KCR to allot whatever he feels right.

But KCR straight away rejected the proposal on the face forcing Chandrababu to look at other alternates to save TDP from extinction in Telangana.

He convinced Congress to join hands with TDP by promising to pump in thousands of crores to fight elections and provide four helicopters for campaigning to give a tough fight to TRS.

The Congress immediately accepted this proposal and set up Mahakutami.

TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram was also not willing to start his own party TJS or join Mahakutami had KCR given him appointment to discuss and sort out the issues between them. But KCR ignored Kondandaram and the rest is history.

KCR with his bloated ego and arrogance rejected Chandrababu and Kodandaram, who now became weapons in the hands of TRS's main rival Congress to take on KCR in Assembly elections.

If TRS, TDP, TJS contested elections together, the war would be definitely 'one-sided' with Congress restricting to single digit, but for KCR's arrogance, it has now urned out to be a 'tug of war' with TRS and KCR struggling for victory against Chandrababu money-powered Mahakutami.

Look at the huge advertisements being  given in newspapers and TV channels by Congress every day overshadowing even the 'rich' TRS.

Was Congress had the strength to spend that much amount on publicity and use helicopters for its star campaigners including Revanth Reddy without the support of Chandrababu?

If TRS is defeated, it will be viewed as TRS paying the price for KCR's arrogance.
