It looks like glamorous actress of yesteryears and former MP Jayaprada has not been able to find a suitable political party to revive her political career.
She is virtually running from pillar to post to get entry into one party or the other. But unfortunately, she has not been able to get positive response from any party.
After virtually drawing a blank at the Bharatiya Janata Party, Jayaprada on Saturday called on Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Secretariat here. She handed over an invitation to the Chief Minister to attend a marriage related function of her niece to be held on February 27.
Later speaking to media persons, she said that the meeting with KCR was just cordial. “I have invited the Chief Minister to a marriage related function,’ she said. However, she denied rumours of joining TRS fold.
As the TDP is reluctant to take her back into its fold, Jayaprada made a vain bid to contest in recently held Delhi Assembly Elections, according to information.
Jayaprada stated that she will be joining BJP some time later. But, apparently, there was no response from the BJP either.
