There were not many expectations on the success of the just released film Jaguar. Though audiences had evinced some interest in the film, they did not have any high hopes on it.
Reason: our audiences like handsome hero; or want him to have a powerful background and should change his faces quite often to become a smart chap.
But Jaguar’s hero Nikhil Gowda does not fit the expectations of our audiences with charming appearance. This is true. Yet, he is much better than many other Kannada actors.
Even after the release, there was no much positive talk for Jaguar. But, the massive publicity given to the film in television channels seems to have worked out to some extent. Besides, the lavishness and publicity also helped the movie to get good collections.
Despite being released amidst of several big films in the West, Jaguar opened to full houses.
Surprisingly, some of the films released simultaneously could not have proper openings, leave alone full houses. All in the money!
