Jagan's Vizag shifting plan jinxed again!

YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s ambitious plan of shifting his camp office from Tadepalli to Visakhapatnam seems to be jinxed once again.

While the YSR Congress party leaders, including party’s north-Andhra in-charge Y V Subba Reddy and state industries minister Gudivada Amarnath indicated several times that Jagan would be shifting to Visakhapatnam in the first week of December, it is unlikely to happen going by the developments.

Counsels of the Union ministry of environment and forestry informed the state high court on Wednesday that a Central team would be inspecting the Rushikonda hills in the first week of December to inspect the alleged violation of norms in digging of the hills.

Though the ministry had already submitted an interim report in the past stating that there were clear violation of norms, the counsels told the high court that yet another experts team would visit the area to inspect the constructions being taken up on the hill.

The high court deferred the case to December 27, to enable the central team to conduct a fresh survey and submit the final report to the court.

It does mean, Jagan wouldn’t be able to move his CMO to the Rushikonda hills till December 27, when the hearing would take place. If he chooses to move in the first week itself, he might have to face the troubles from the central team.

So, he has no option but to defer his plans. It is not immediately known how long the hearing would take place in the high court and if there is any negative order from the court, he may have to drop the plan altogether!
