Jagan Not Interested In Pact With Pawan

YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is understood to have decided not to entertain any lobbying to have an alliance with Jana Sena Party headed by power star Pawan Kalyan, as the latter had crossed all limits in attacking the YSRC.

According to party sources, Jagan reportedly shouted at some seniors who suggested that the YSRC should forge an alliance with the Jana Sena so as to consolidate the opposition vote against Telugu Desam Party headed by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

“Don’t ever talk about Pawn and his party. I don’t want to have any understanding with such a person who doesn’t have basic qualities of a political leader. My image in the public will go down if I join hands with him. Come what may, let us fight on our own,” he reportedly told them.

There was a talk that the Bharatiya Janata Party leadership was also trying to bring Jagan and Pawan together to defeat Chandrababu Naidu. However, the YSRC chief did not evince any interest in the proposal.

In fact, Jagan has been observing a lot of restraint on Pawan, after the initial controversy over his comments on the latter’s personal life during his tour in Kakinada.

But, Pawan has been periodically harping on the same old words of Jagan and abusing the latter with all sorts of epithets.

In every meeting, Pawan is equating Jagan with Naidu and attacking both. It appears Pawan considers himself to be the effective alternative to both the leaders.

This has made Jagan pissed off with Pawan and hence, decided against entertaining any talk about an alliance with Pawan.

Now, YSRC leaders have also launched a counter-attack on Pawan, describing him as a plant of Naidu!
