Different stories are doing rounds about the reason behind ex minister Konatala's resignation from YSRCP.
Ex MLA Gandi Babji has been removed as the in-charge of Pendurthi and this has resulted in displeasure of Konatala. Angered by the move, Konatala wrote a strongly worded letter to YS Jagan.
Incidentally, Gandi Babji was voted to assembly from Parawada. A close aide of Konatala, he was given the chance to contest from Pendurthi during the last general elections. But Babji lost with a margin of more than 15,000 votes.
Since various changes are being made within YSRCP, Babji was removed as the in-charge of Pendurthi.
But the same was not conveyed to Konatala, who ended up angry and made a statement saying that it was hard to believe Jagan anymore.
