This is what Valiullah Qadri, chairperson of the Warangal chapter of Telangana Students’ Joint Action Committee (TSJAC), said in response to the Konda couple being allowed into the TRS.
“When we were fighting for Telangana, the Konda couple sided with Jagan, who was a staunch supporter of Samaikhyandhra and they were responsible for the Mahabubabad incident in which 11 Telangana supporters received bullet injuries. How can KCR now invite them into the TRS? Next, he should invite Lagadapati Rajagopal into the TRS,” said Qadri.
He further added, “We are not going to take this lying down. I shall personally see to it that a student leader is fielded against Konda Surekha.”
His anger is understandable indeed! After the Mahabubabad violence, Konda Surekha tried to immolate herself in a fit of anger and termed Kodandaram, KCR and Harish Rao as ‘sons of whores’.
Today, she has now joined hands with those very people. And KCR has proved that he is a man with no self-respect. But then you don’t need to have it in politics, do you?
