How Long Will Naidu Blame It On Bifurcation?

The bifurcation of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh is now history. It's exactly 15 months since the bifurcation took place and Telangana got separated from AP.

While Telangana government has begun the process of reconstructing the State, the Chandrababu Naidu government in Andhra Pradesh is still blaming it on the bifurcation to cover up its failures.

Whether it is about problems in land acquisition for State capital, shortfall in revenue generation, lack of drinking water supply, bad roads, deaths in Godavari pushkarams, inadequate release of funds from the Centre or problems in implementation of loan waiver scheme – for every issue, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has only one thing to say: blame it on improper and unscientific division of the united Andhra Pradesh by the previous Congress-led UPA government.

And now, Naidu is making the same allegation with regard to the Centre’s refusal to grant special status to Andhra Pradesh.

He said the demand for special status would not have arisen, had the State not been divided unscientifically.

He even accused YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for not stopping the passage of AP Reorganisation Bill.

It is surprising as to how long Naidu pass his time blaming it on bifurcation. It is now irreversible and it is time, he focusses on securing maximum benefits from the Centre. He cannot cover up his failures forever!
