The film has been declared a super duper hit and it has indeed been a befitting tribute to his late father and doyen of Telugu cinema, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. There is unanimous feeling that the film is a harbinger of a new trend in Telugu cinema and that it is a wonderful movie.
The film has been directed by Vikram Kumar who earlier made the hit film Ishq. It is said that both Vikram and Nagarjuna set out to make a film that would make a ‘great film’.
Luckily for them, Manam has also become a top grosser both in India and abroad. Definitely, all credit goes to Nagarjuna and his team for making a film that will still be remembered 25 years down the line.
