Gavvala Puranam To Counter Garuda Puranam

Gavvala Puranam To Counter Garuda Puranam

For the last few days, Operation Garuda predicted by Telugu film actor and Telugu Desam Party supporter Sivaji had been making headlines.

Though nobody took him seriously, when he came out this Garuda Puranam in April, it was authenticated by none other than TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu after the recent attack on the life of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at Visakhapatnam airport.

Naidu sought to endorse an imaginative theory proposed by Sivaji as if he was an authentic source of the alleged conspiracy against his government. He even propagated the same Garuda Puranam in New Delhi.

Having realised that Naidu is trying to make the people believe Sivaji’s theory, YSR Congress party supporter and actor Pruthvi Raj on Thursday came out with a counter theory – “Operation Gavvala Puranam” seeking to expose the illegal activities of the TDP government and Naidu.

Popularly known for his famous “thirty-years industry” dialogue, Pruthvi Raj said he would come out with all details of this Gavvala Puranam in December.

“This is not a comedy show like that of Sivaji. It is a serious exercise, wherein a number gavvalu (shells) would come out one after the other on their own. Each shell represents a TDP leader and it will open up the illegal deeds of the TDP leaders,” he said.

He said he had gathered all the information regarding the misuse of power by TDP leaders and also the exploitation of people's money.

“I shall make it public one after the other,” he said.

Pruthvi denied the reports that it is going to be a hung assembly in Andhra in the next elections.

“It is going to be a one-side war and YSRC will win hands down without the support of any other party or any alliances,” he asserted.

The film actor ridiculed Naidu’s unscrupulous political moves particularly joining hands with Congress by setting aside the party ideology.
