At a time when Telugu Desam Party has become irrelevant in the Telangana, Congress MLA from Nalgonda Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the TDP regime in the combined state was better than that of present TRS government in the new state.
According to Komatireddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the past was better than present Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao with regard to giving appointment to Opposition leaders and attending to the issues raised by them.
“When Naidu was CM, whenever we sought an appointment with him, we used to get his audience without fail. But, now, KCR is not giving time to any of us. He neither comes to Secretariat nor gives appointment to anybody at Pragati Bhavan,” Reddy criticised, after meeting chief secretary SP Singh at Secretariat here.
He wondered whether Secretariat would also be grabbed by land sharks as had happened in the case of Miyapur lands.
“If KCR doesn’t bother about Secretariat, someone would encroach the land similar to Miyapur lands,” he said.
He alleged that the TRS government was making Telangana a debt-ridden State while taking loans in the name of corporation.
Alleging that the distribution of sheep was a big scam, Venkat Reddy said there would be a scam if the government did anything.
