Fact Sheet: Not Quite Correct!

Slamming media reports that the realty sector in Hyderabad is down and out, KCR said that Hyderabad is still the preferred destination.

“The land boom in Vijayawada is over. Realtors who invested in Vijayawada are coming back to Hyderabad. The media campaign has been proved wrong with the investments coming back to Hyderabad,” said KCR.

Normally, the realtors invest in places where development is likely that results in urbanization.

It is a fact that Naidu’s plans for the new capital have taken a nose dive following inadequate assistance from the Center. However, the realtors have only opted to stay silent for the moment. There is no indication that investments in Hyderabad are picking up. That is because, the Seemandhra people are no longer showing interest in acquiring property in Hyderabad as KCR does not command their trust.

Understandable for on one day, he asks the Seemandhra people to leave Hyderabad and the next day, he assures them all protection and justice. In fact, KCR’s statement coming close on the heels of the arrest of the MD of realty giant ‘Aliens Group’ is ironic.
