Fact Sheet: KCR Talking Like CBN Of 2019

It seems like a certain level of overconfidence and audacity is masking some party heads before the elections. Their remarks echo in a similar vein.

Reflecting back, we can remember what Chandrababu stated in 2019 before the elections. He told the public that if they didn't vote for TDP, the ones to suffer would be the people, not himself. He also mentioned that he would go home and spend time with his grandson if not given power, but it was the people who endured the consequences.

But what actually happened in the end? Could Chandrababu really spend time with his grandson in the past four and a half years? He faced all kinds of insults, mockery, legal cases, and even imprisonment.

Surprisingly, now even KCR and KTR are making similar statements. They assert that people would lose out if they don't vote for BRS. They also say they would relax if people take away their power. But will they truly be able to relax? Wouldn't the new government formed by another party begin investigating the wrongdoings of the BRS government over the last ten years?

Instead of these audacious statements, the BRS heads should have addressed the public by showcasing the situation in Karnataka, which is governed by Congress. They ought to highlight how corruption has become rampant in the state and how the promises and welfare schemes are not being fulfilled for the people. The current campaign of BRS against Congress is feeble and might have a detrimental effect in the end.
