Senior Congress leader and AICC in-charge of Andhra and Telangana affairs Digvijay Singh always wants to be news with his controversial remarks, rather than focussing on improving the party position in the Telugu states.
On Thursday, Digvijay was back in the news, this time dragging Telangana minister K T Rama Rao into the drug racket that has shaken Hyderabad in general and Telugu film industry in particular.
The Congress veteran took to his social media platform Twitter to attack the Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader
"Huge drug scam in Telangana. Influential friends of TRS heir apparent involved. Let's see if they would be saved or prosecuted. Let's see", Diggy tweeted.
Without losing much time, KTR shot back at Digvijay on the same platform.
“You've completely lost sir. Time to retire gracefully & do something worth your age. Glad that you've learnt to spell 'Telangana'."
Digvijay had earlier made controversial remarks dragging the Telangana police into the IS terrorist operations.
He alleged that the Telangana cops had been trapping Muslim youths into ISIS through inflammatory posts from their fake handles.
The Telangana government and the DGP condemned his allegations, while a TRS leader filed a case on the AICC leader charging him with demoralising the police and creating fear among people of the state besides hurting the feelings of one section of the people.
