Congress Has A Valid Point

The Congress party is accusing the ruling TRS of having tampered with the electronic voting machines in the GHMC polls enabling the latter to score a more than comfortable victory.

“How can KTR repeatedly say with such confidence that his party would win more than 100 seats?” questioned the Congress.

At the same time, it makes another complaint that is quite valid. The NOTA option was removed from the voting machines by the election commission. This means that the voting public would definitely have to pick a candidate from the available list of options.

The Congress is therefore questioning the motive of the election commission in removing the NOTA option.

The election commission was earlier in the news too prior to the GHMC polls when the names of Seemandhra voters were removed from the voters’ list.
