BJP MLA Alleti Maheshwar Reddy has levelled serious allegations against MLC K Kavitha, claiming that she was involved in a ₹2,000-crore land scam with the full support of the present Congress government.
Speaking to the media, Maheshwar Reddy alleged that the state government not only turned a blind eye to the scam but actively helped Kavitha by facilitating land transfers.
He further claimed that Kavitha’s husband Anil and senior Congress leader and CM Revanth Reddy’s close aide A V Reddy jointly executed the massive land deal, which he described as a “well-organised fraud.”
“This ₹2,000-crore scam is happening with the backing of this government. They supported Kavitha by transferring the land required for the deal. This is a clear example of corruption thriving under Congress rule,” Maheshwar Reddy said.
The BJP leader demanded a thorough investigation and immediate action against all individuals involved, including those in government who allegedly aided the transfer of land.
The Congress government has not yet issued a response to the allegations.
