Reports are emerging that Chiranjeevi might well be given the chance to become the stop-gap CM of Andhra Pradesh till the bifurcation and election process is complete. But if Chiru becomes CM then what is the advantage for Jagan. This is one angle the analysts are now evaluating.
They say Jagan is going to hit a jackpot if that happens.
In Seemandhra, the TDP chief Chandrababu is pampering the Kapu vote bank as their presence is very strong especially in Krishna, Godavari districts. In north Andhra and Rayalaseema, Jagan wave is strong so Naidu is not venturing that side.
Now, if Chiru becomes CM then the Kapus will vote for him due to caste feeling and that would leave Naidu empty handed.
On the other hand, it will leave the field clear for Jagan because his vote bank is intact. Coming to Telangana, the Reddy vote bank is high in percentage.
So, if Chiru becomes CM they will not vote for Congress due to caste element because Telangana Reddys will never accept a Kapu CM.
At the same time, YSRCP is also contesting in Telangana so when Congress is not the option then it becomes the preferred choice. Hence, the analysts say that either ways, Congress will get decimated if Chiru is given the chance so hopefully Congress may not take that risk.
In a way Botsa is better because he has huge political experience and knows who to field where. Let us see what is going to happen now.
