Telangana CM Chandra Sekhara Rao surely knows how to create an issue when nothing is happening. His latest tactic is to revive the issue about the statues on Tank Bund.
But this time, he has toned down a bit and he has said that once the statues are removed, they would be sent respectfully to Andhra.
He also mentioned that a statue of Konda Lakshman Bapuji will be installed on Tank Bund very soon.
Well, that is a noble thought. But one fails to understand as to what the problem is with the already existing ones.
Since Hyderabad will remain the common capital for another 10 years, it may not be correct for the KCR government to get them removed.
Many feel that KCR is trying to play sentiment-based politics in Telangana and focusing on the issue is a mere ploy to attract public attention.
