Hyderabad: When Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao got ABN blocked in Telangana, the channel approached the High Court which asked the TRS government for an explanation.
The government said that it was not behind the blockade and the cable operators had blocked the channel of their own volition.
Recently, Sakshi has been blocked in Andhra Pradesh by the TDP government. When the management of Sakshi filed a case in the High Court, the answer given by the TDP was that they had nothing to do with blocking the channel; it was a decision by the cable operators.
Whatever tricks the yellow gang were subjected to in Telangana, they are using the same against the YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh.
When YSR was in power and was the absolute authority, never did he stoop to such undemocratic practices like banning Eenadu or ABN. Naidu and his bunch are setting new lows in politics.
If they were to lose power in 2019, God help them for clearly, they would meet a similar response from their adversaries then.
