Chandrababu Naidu has put to rest all speculation regarding the location of the capital by announcing that it would be in Guntur district.
All along he had been saying that it would be close to Vijayawada and Guntur, but at Savalyapuram village in Vinukonda, while addressing a gram sabha, Naidu said that the capital would be in Guntur district.
This automatically makes Amaravati, a hot contender and the phone lines across the offices of all realtors have been busy since then.
Naidu also utilized the occasion to take potshots at KCR saying that the latter was unnecessarily blaming Naidu for the power crisis in Telangana whereas it was KCR’s own incompetence which was responsible for the current predicament.
