Close on the heels of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who has been doing district-wise review of the party’s poll debacle, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee too has decided to do similar reviews to analyse reasons for its failure to come to power in the region, despite granting Statehood.
The Telangana PCC will begin the assembly constituency-wise reviews on party performance from June 12 to find out the reasons for the party’s debacle in the recent elections.
Apart from PCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah, seniors like K Jana Reddy and D Srinivas would take stock of the situation and review the performance of the party.
Ponnala is planning to tour districts from June 14 onward to hold review meetings with the candidates.
Later, a state-level meeting would be held which would be attended by party general secretary Digvijay Singh, secretaries Vayalar Ravi and RC Kuntia.
