A Different Scenario In Delhi

For the past few days, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has been on a dharna at the Lieutenant Governor’s residence asking that the IAS Officers of Delhi call off their strike which has crippled the administration.

There is one interesting development here: The Congress party has not supported him. All across the nation, the Congress has been forming an alliance with whoever is opposing the BJP but in Delhi, apparently Kejriwal is on his own.

With the BJP making life difficult for Kejriwal and the Congress also staying mum, Kejriwal is on his own.

Political analysts say that Kejriwal also harbors Prime Ministerial ambitions and for this reason, Sonia Gandhi considers him as a threat to Rahul Gandhi.

In the past, Congress helped AAP to form the government but Kejriwal soon started contesting in other states like Punjab as well, eating into the Congress vote bank.

Therefore, the Congress is no longer interested in a truck with AAP which it believes it cannot control unlike the other regional parties.
