What will Speaker decide on Naidu?

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly had unanimously resolved empowering speaker Thammineni Sitaram to take a call on Opposition Leader Chandrababu Naidu for his alleged misbehavior with Assembly Marshalls.

The Assembly took up the issue in Friday with the ruling YSR Congress MLAs alleging that Chandrababu Naidu, his son Lokesh and some TDP leaders manhandled the Assembly staff,  including the Chief Marshall on Thursday at the fourth gate of the Assembly.

The ruling party members and Minister for Legislative Affairs Buggana Rajendranadh informing the House that Chandrababu Naidu breached the rules and insulted the employees.

Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy sought to draw the attention of the speaker that Chandrababu Naidu should enter the Assembly from the Second Gate and not the Fourth Gate.

Jaganmohan Reddy said the Chandrababu Naidu violated the set rules and abused the employees only to divert the attention of the people, mislead the members and misuse the Assembly.

Responding to the demands, speaker Sitharam asked Chandrababu Naidu whether he would apologize or regret the issue.

As Chandrababu Naidu refused to admit his misbehavior, Minister Buggana Rajendranath moved a resolution in the Assembly asking the speaker to decide on the action to be taken against the opposition leader.

Later, at the TDP office, Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the ruling party was threatening him for raising the people's issues.

As the Assembly is adjourned to Monday, it is to be seen what the speaker would decide on Chandrababu Naidu.
