Watch: Mangalagiri MLA dares Lingamaneni for debate

In a swift move, Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, threw an open challenge to industrialist Lingamaneni Ramesh to come for debate on the legality of his building on the river Krishna flood bank.

The fire-brand MLA discounted the claims of Ramesh that the building has permissions, which were not valid.

He also recalled that Chandrababu Naidu, as chief minister had claimed that the building was given to the government in land pooling and wondered how the same persons were claiming it as private building.

He wanted the industrialist to clarify whether his statement in 2015 about giving his building for the government was true or his claims of own building now were true.

He also wanted Chandrababu Naidu to clarify whether the building was taken over by the government in land pooling or it was leased to him as being claimed now.

Ramakrishna Reddy further said that Lingamaneni Ramesh was claiming a letter of 2011 was sent to the government seeking permission for his building. The signature of the 2011 letter does not match the signature on the open letter sent to chief minister Jaganmohan Reddy on Tuesday.

The Mangalagiri MLA accused Lingamaneni Ramesh of indulging in massive corruption in the last government after giving the building to Chandrababu Naidu.

The MLA threatened to produce the statements and video footage of both Lingamaneni Ramesh and Chandrababu Naidu on the ownership of the buildings in 2015.

He also wanted the industrialist to come for open debate with him to disprove his claims on the building – both ownership and legality.

He cautioned Lingamaneni Ramesh and Chandrababu Naidu not to mislead people on the legality of the building by making false claims.
