Vizag YSRC MLAs deny differences in party!

For the last three days, there have been reports in the social media and a section of mainstream media about some YSR Congress party MLAs from Visakhapatnam raising a banner of revolt against party general secretary V Vijay Sai Reddy and some local officials over some land issues.

The reports said the issue had gone to the notice of party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who had reportedly called Sai Reddy and other MLAs to Tadepalli and given them a strong warning about making the differences in public.

Jagan reportedly told them that he had all the evidences about which MLA was doing what and they would have to face the music, if they aired their views in public.

He is learnt to have asked Sai Reddy to settle the issues and ensure that the differences were sorted out.

According to reports from Visakhapatnam, Sai Reddy held a meeting with MPs and MLAs of YSRC at the government guest house on Friday and discussed all the issues pertaining to them in general and party in particular.

Visakhapatnam (South) MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar, who had defected from the Telugu Desam Party to YSRC, was the first person to deny the differences among the party leaders in the district.

“Though there is nothing of sort, some persons are deliberately making it an issue. We have only discussed issues raised in district development review committee and we are all working together as a team,” he said.

Anakapalle MLA Gudivada Amarnath, who had reportedly made certain allegations against Sai Reddy, said there was no communication gap between the district MLAs and the high command.

He said he had not gone to Tadepalli to meet the chief minister at all, but the media planted stories about the differences in the party.
