The local elections those weren't held due to various reasons in the recent past are happening now.
Nellore Corporation elections along with 12 Municipalities, MPTC, ZPTC and Sarpanch elections ae going to be held on 14.15,16 of this month.
On the other hand the elections are also going to be held in Kuppam Municipality with 25 wards in it.
The total number of voters in the 54 divisions of Nellore Corporation are 4,92,074. The number in Kuppam is around 40000.
Both TDP and YCP are in tension for these elections because, it is a prestige issue for both.
Minister Anilkumar Yadav has been representing Nellore. So it is a political need for him to win the elections in this region.
On the other hand Kuppam belongs to TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu so it is a dire need for him to win this place.
Both are parties are in deep tension for these elections and moving their pawns steadily.
