TDP is known for getting the surveys done before the poll. The Party has been more active than before as Tirupathi by election is on the cards.
Apart from TDP, the other party groups as well as the non political organizations are making surveys to know what could be the vote share of the winning candidate.
On this subject a group of 10 members formed a team to know the pulse of the voters in ground level. Knowing the fact, the TDP got shocked as per the inside sources.
It is assumed that the incident of stone pelting on Chandrababu and the TDP leaders continuously blasting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would show its effect on the poll. But surprisingly, nothing seems to be helping TDP.
In 2019 Balli Durgaprasada Rao, the YSRCP candidate won the Lok Sabha seat with 55.03% vote share and 7,22,877 votes. At the same time the TDP candidate Panabaka Lakshmi secured 37.65% vote share with 4,95,501 votes. But now in the by-poll, the TDP poll survey concluded that not more than 2 to 3 lakh votes are going to be polled for Panabaka Lakshmi.
The information was passed on to the TDP supremo. They realised that the father and son campaign didn't show any impact in the ground level.
On the other hand the positive impression on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's welfare schemes and the recently distributed house plots worked well on the majority voters.
The forced cases on the government by the TDP has also contributed towards negative impression on TDP as per the survey report.
