TDP Breathes Oxygen With These Two Lungs

We rely on two lungs for breathing, much like how two magazines serve as the life force for the TDP, providing it with the necessary oxygen. Without them, there appears to be little support behind Chandrababu Naidu and his party.

Despite his age, Chandrababu continues to campaign with vigor, while Pawan adheres to his agreed-upon campaigning style in limited constituencies. Meanwhile, Lokesh remains solely focused on Mangalagiri, his contested constituency.

The question arises: who else is available to campaign for the Telugu Desam Party?

Could it be senior figures like Murali Mohan, Raghavendra Rao, or Ashwinidutt from the film industry? What about seasoned politicians like Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Atchennaidu, or Dhaadi Veerabhadra Rao? Among them, only CBN stands out as the sole leader within the 40-year-old Telugu Desam Party capable of canvassing the entire state.

Why is the situation so dire? It's because Chandrababu prevented any other leader in the party from gaining statewide prominence. Many potential leaders departed the Telugu Desam Party due to Chandrababu's dominance, leaving those who remain overshadowed.

Currently, the star campaigners of the Telugu Desam Party are these two Telugu newspapers. Since their inception, their agenda has remained consistent: churning out negative news on the opposition party. Yet, it's not the magazine owners who deserve acknowledgment but rather the journalists tirelessly crafting articles over the past five years.

This practice has continued from YSR's regime to 2019 and 2024. Without these two magazines, the Telugu Desam Party would be left adrift. Just as KCR silenced these newspapers in Telangana, Chandrababu's party disappeared. Even now, these magazines aren't championing TDP in Telangana.

Hence, these two magazines remain the Telugu Desam Party's stalwart supporters. If they fall silent, there will be no avenue to disseminate the party's message. It is the situation CBN brought upon himself. If these newspapers go silent even in AP, then it goes without saying that TDP vanishes without a trace.
