Showdown: Pawan's Strategy Session with Konatala

Jana Sena Party (JSP) President Pawan Kalyan convened a meeting with former minister and MP Konatala Ramakrishna to discuss the current political landscape of Uttarandhra in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

Following the extensive discussion with senior leader and former minister Konathala Ramakrishna, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan remarked, "We deliberated on the ongoing political developments and the progress of Uttarandhra."

The meeting between Pawan Kalyan and senior leader Konatala Ramakrishna extended beyond an hour.

Konathala Ramakrishna emphasized the necessity for stakeholders, from the grassroots level to the national arena, to stay well-informed.

He indicated that he advised Pawan Kalyan to adopt a proactive stance in North Andhra and provided insights regarding potential constituencies for Pawan's consideration. He stated that detailed information would be shared at an appropriate juncture.

"I recommended to Pawan Kalyan to focus on North Andhra and suggested potential contesting areas. Further details will be disclosed at the appropriate time," he conveyed to reporters.

Earlier, on February 5, Pawan Kalyan visited the residence of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravathi.

Last month, both Naidu and Pawan Kalyan unilaterally announced candidates for two assembly seats each for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh polls.

Pawan revealed candidates for Rajanagaram and Razole constituencies, while Chandrababu announced candidates for Araku and Mandapeta constituencies, allegedly causing strain in the TDP-JSP alliance.

Andhra Pradesh is slated to hold elections in a few months, coinciding with this year's Lok Sabha polls.
