Controversial MP from Hindupur, Gorantla Madhav, had said that when he wanted to quit police service and join active politics, his father had given him a piece of advice.
The MP said that he had met his father before joining the YSR Congress and told him his decision.
His father had then told him that politics is a profession of conspirators and there was no place for people with honesty.
He also cautioned Madhav to be careful with Chandrababu Naidu as the TDP chief was more dangerous than a venomous snake.
“NTR could not save himself from Chandrababu Naidu’s scheme. You (Madhav) are a too small man and new to politics,” Madhav’s father said to have cautioned his son.
“If you come across a venomous snake and Chandrababu Naidu at the same time, save yourself from Chandrababu Naidu first and then think of that snake,” Madhav’s father told him.
Madhav said that his father had even advised him to be alert always and never fall in the traps of Chandrababu Naidu and his henchmen.
“This venomous snake-like Chandrababu Naidu and his henchmen have trapped me. But, I am sure, I can come out of this trap clean,” Madhav asserted.
He further said that several politicians have fell in the trap of Chandrababu Naidu in the last four decades and he was the latest.
He claimed that Chandrababu Naidu continues to trap people, follow conspiracy in politics, betray people and backstab others.
