Rural People Shower Praises On Jagan

There is a lot of difference in the thinking of the people from the rural area to the urban area.

While people from the rural areas have some reasons to criticise the four-month old Jaganmohan Reddy government, the rural people have several reasons to shower praises on him and his government.

The first reason is the restriction on the availability of liquor in the state. The new government had brought down the number of liquor shops from 4,500 to 3,500, dropping 1000 shops across the State.

The government had also cut down the liquor sales time by two hours and the shops are closed at 8 pm.

This is bringing cheers from the women in the rural areas and even men are happy to see their young children not drunk in the evening as the shops are closed early or the shops are not available in the vicinity.

The village volunteers and the village secretariats are another reason for the people to praise Jagan’s rule.

Over 1.45 lakh people have got government employments in the village secretariats, which was a dream for many of them.

The youth got jobs and they are with the parents, which keeps them happy. Moreover, several of the TDP youth also got jobs and they are happy with Jagan’s rule.

The other reason is the YSR Vahana Mitra, where every own auto and car driver was paid Rs 10,000 at a stroke. Here too, some TDP leaders and sympathisers received the benefit and they are happy with Jagan’s rule.

Though Naidu also rolled out some sops, his government issued cheques to the beneficiaries, which gave them lot of risk of standing at the mercy of the bank staff.

The SHG women, farmers had to run around the banks days together to encash the cheques. This hardship is removed by Jagan and the money was deposited directly in the bank account.

They are waiting for Rythu Bharosa payment and the TDP leaders too are confident that Jagan will pay them too.

The YSR Kanti Velugu too is going well down the line as the children from the TDP families are also being selected for the free tests, screening and cataract operations.
