Rathnakar appointed AP representative in US?

Rathnakar Pandigayala, YSR Congress party’s convenor in North America, is learnt to have been appointed as special representative of Andhra Pradesh government in the US.

According to reliable sources, Rathnakar’s appointment was approved by YSRC president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is presently touring the US. A government order to this effect is expected to be issued shortly.

“He will take care of liaison, coordination, facilitation and assistance to all Government officials and dignitaries of Andhra Pradesh going to North America,” sources said.

Rathanakar will also take up the responsibility for mobilizing financial, technical and human resources from North America for economic, social, cultural and tourism development of Andhra Pradesh.

Fifty-one year old Rathnakar is presently from Marlborough and previously worked at Manchester. He is presently a Database Administrator at City of Santa Monica.

He is an active participant in all the YSRC activities in the US and he regularly organizes Jayanti and Vardhanti of Jagan’s father late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy.
